At Puddleduck Homeschool Centre, we believe learning flourishes when children feel safe, inspired, and connected to nature. Located on a serene horse rehabilitation farm in Somerset West, our centre blends academic excellence with real-life learning—through animals, soil, sunshine, and community.
Our centre currently offers private homeschooling support for learners in Grades 1–7, using CAPS via Impaq. Each year, we expand to the next grade, eventually offering full support up to Grade 12.

Learning here doesn’t stop at a desk. Students:
Help care for horses, chickens, goats, pigs, and ducks
Participate in greenhouse gardening and composting
Learn biology, responsibility, empathy, and teamwork
Engage in environmental science through hands-on experience
As part of our unique farm-based learning experience, all homeschool learners receive free introductory horse-riding lessons. These sessions build confidence, balance, and trust—while deepening each child’s connection to the animals they help care for.

That’s why we include free beginner music sessions—covering rhythm, instruments, and joyful exploration. Music builds coordination, emotional intelligence, and a love of learning.
