Puddleduck School and Day-care Centre is unlike any other. We’re the only learning centre in Somerset West where nature becomes the classroom—fresh air, animals, soil, and sunshine are part of our daily curriculum. Our mission is simple: to raise happy, grounded children through hands-on, heart-led, and nature-based education.
We offer half-day and full-day care for children aged 0–6 years, Grade RR and Grade R.
We group our children by age and developmental stage to ensure they feel both secure and stimulated:
Winnie-the-Pooh Class: 0 – 2 years
Duckling Class: 2 – 3 years
Busy Bees Class: 3 – 4 years
Cool Cats Class: 4 – 5 years
Grade R: School readiness and early foundation
With small group sizes, your child gets individual attention and meaningful guidance every day.
Healthy bodies fuel bright minds! All children receive:
A healthy breakfast
A wholesome, home-cooked lunch
A 3:00 PM snack for full-day learners
Our meals are lovingly prepared to support growing bodies and active learners.
Located on a working horse rescue farm, our children spend their days surrounded by ponies, goats, ducks, pigs, chickens, and a thriving greenhouse. From collecting eggs to planting seeds, these real-life experiences teach responsibility, empathy, and sustainability in the most natural way possible.
Our educators are handpicked for their warm hearts, patience, and passion for childhood development. We support your child’s emotional well-being just as much as we do their learning milestones.
